July 3, 2009 (Las Vegas, NV – USA) Las Vegas’ #1 Teen Heavy Metal band, “Control the Chaos” completed production today on their first full-length feature music video for the debut single “The Blackened Sunrise” a rebellious anthem documenting the group’s endurance over opposition. Filmed on location in strategically assigned areas across southern Nevada, the music video features a compelling storyline with stunning edits, picturesque settings and visuals, presented at an adrenaline bursting pace.

“The song has so many dramatic moments both musically and lyrically,” stated Ed Fassio founder of the group’s management firm (Itchy Metal Entertainment) and band manager. “In order to capture the essence of the band, the genre’s branding and the tonal elements of the song, we needed strong direction and fresh artistic elements. For this reason, we chose to collaborate and embrace a partnership with Hartley Entertainment Group for our debut. David and Daniel’s visual interpretation of this song is just an amazing display of revitalized cinematography. This project looks to rebirth the importance of creating relevant roles for music video through developed characters and relevant storyline. We wanted something revolutionary and this sets the bar very high.”

David J. Hartley, founder of Hartley Entertainment Group is an accomplished local artist, independent film director and music producer on the Las Vegas entertainment scene. His firm is a full service production house featuring high-end pre and post-production resources and specialists. Through Mr. Hartley, the band was introduced to rising film director Daniel A. Chandia. Mr. Chandia’s resume includes direction over several independent projects, and most recently a team recipient of this year’s coveted Vegas’ 48 Hour Film Festival Award for “Best Editing” for the short film “Forget Me Not”.

“This is some of the best work I’ve ever done and I’m very proud of this project for CTC,” says Chandia.

“It’s all about the art of allowing things to come together perfectly,” added Hartley. “This is all possible because of the collective contributions of everyone involved with Control the Chaos. Perfect days.”

The full video release will feature a world-premiere to be broadcast through several different media forums including promotion through traditional print, radio and television media along with presentations through popular social networking channels including the band’s official website, MySpace, YouTube, Facebook and ReverbNation websites.

CTC will also release the feature on DVD which will include additional bonus footage showcasing the making of the video and band insight on the inspiration for the music and theme for “Blackened Sunrise”. The retail product will also showcase director, producer, management and fan commentary along with production notes and exclusive still images captured during film production.
