Teen Molten Metal band, Control the Chaos has been hard at work in the studio working on some new material. In addition to remixing some of their old favorites, they’ve also assembled a new musical composition, entitled “Triumph & Disaster”… an early demo to debut here on MySpace in the coming days.

“I was reading a book recently and I came across that phrase. When we were deciding what titles to name the new song, this one just seemed to fit and the rest of the guys really liked it. It matches the story behind the music and lyrics, so we’re hoping that our fans like the different style we put on this one”, stated Cody Davis, guitarist for CTC.

“I started writing the main riff a few months back. You’ll be able to hear some of our modern influences right away. It’s a bit more complicated on the timing structure and we use a bunch of intermittent solos during the track. Probably the most interesting thing on this single is that the measures never repeat themselves. They kind of do their thing and then we move on. This time, the melody and lyrics are what convey the repetitive message. We like to try new things, and this one was a lot of fun,” says Zachary Fassio, second guitarist for CTC.

CJ Hulet (bass) and Hector Gomez (drums) agree, “This one is intense, tiring to play and is definitely a bit more commercial as it relates to the current metal sound that’s coming from groups like Bullet and Darkest Hour. It really kicks live.”

“The track in its current state is still in development. We need to tighten up some things and we are experimenting with vocals and harmonies. Even though the band regularly performs their tracks live with lyrics and melodies, we’re still open to finding that one killer vocalist that would like to audition for the group. This new song (T&D) will hopefully inspire somebody out there to come forward and perform and/or record with us,” added band manager, Ed Fassio.

CTC has also been extremely priveleged to work with legendary sound engineer and producer, Maor Applebaum. Maor is a familiar face in the music industry and is best known for his work in the heavy rock and heavy metal genres. Maor has mastered songs of various bands and artists including:
